Hello dear people!
I have some bad problem with the CPU as much as i know.
I built a gaming pc with ultra 265k with Aio 360mm from asus.
at start all was great for few months, but suddenly i got some crashing that reboots the pc.
i found that the problem was the pump of the new aio.
so i switched to my old one from 10+ years ago that uses 1150 lga with 3 screws on 1851 bracket.
Thats working!
so i desided not to repaire the pump under warrenty and i bought again new one today.
I installed it by the manual as needed.
Pc booting, idle temp a bit higher than usual... In game or stress test, the cpu is reaching easy 85-95 c'.
after 2-3 min of load, the pc is blacking the screen and taking his time to start posting and reboot.
So i guess that all new aio not working with the new generation of intel?
Or am i doing something wrong?
I would love to get some help, i cant use my pc for the purpose i biult it.
some specs
intel 265k cpu
asus z890-p wifi mother board
asus 1000 watt psu
2+1 mvme drives
48 gb ram from corsair
broken aio asus prime lc 360 argb
new aio corsair titan rgb rx aio 360
10 years old aio is from corsair 240mm
thanks for your time

Hello NatiGosto,
Greetings from Intel Customer Support.
Thank you for posting on the Intel Community Forum.
Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing detailed information about your system and the issue you are experiencing.
Based on your description, the high CPU temperatures (85–95°C under load) followed by system crashes indicate a possible cooling-related concern rather than a processor compatibility issue. There are no known compatibility limitations between Intel® processors and AIO liquid coolers.
To assist you further, we kindly request you to help us with the following details:
- Please confirm if the AIO pump is running (any sound/vibration or RPM visible in BIOS/software).
- Let us know which header the pump is connected to (CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP).
- Confirm if the protective plastic film on the cold plate was removed before installation.
- Let us know if thermal paste was applied (or if you are using the pre-applied paste).
- Kindly confirm that the cooler is mounted securely with even pressure.
- Share your current BIOS version and confirm if the system is running on default BIOS settings.
- Please confirm whether the mounting kit used supports the LGA 1851 socket.
In the meantime, we recommend the following steps:
- Ensure the pump is connected to the appropriate header (preferably AIO_PUMP) and running at full speed.
- Reinstall the cooler by cleaning and reapplying thermal paste, and reseating it properly.
- Load BIOS default settings and, if possible, update to the latest BIOS version for your motherboard.
- If available, you may continue using your previous working cooler temporarily to verify system stability.
These steps will help us isolate whether the issue is related to installation, configuration, or the cooling solution itself.
We look forward to your response so we can assist you further.
Best regards,
Roy

Hello and sorry for the delay.
I will answer to your topics one by one as you mentioned.
AIO punp running witout any unusual noice and running correctly to the ICUE app.
AIO connected to the CPU fan header.
No plastic between the cpu and the cooler.
I used first with the pre-paste thermals paste and after few crashed i aplied new from Corsiar that i bought.
AIO cooler is mounted correct with even preasure for all 4 screws.
Bios version is the newest (3020) and always running on default setting since i build the pc.
The mounting kit is for 1851 socket.
about the 4 steps you mentioned, i did all exept puting the old cooler since the cooler it self doesent have adapter for 1851 socket and the cooler that had it (asus prime lc 360) is in the warrenty for inspection so i cant use it at all at the moment. For now i use the pc for old games that doesent stress the cpu ( like Star Craft 2) but when i play Battlefield 6 on minimum specs (all setting on the lowest) it is playeble for 30-60 min and then it crashes.
Sometimes the pc is blacking the screen for few seconds and resetting, but some times its fully shutting off and try to turn on and not booting from the first time so it is resetting for 2-3 times.
I guess the cpu is kinda coocked so thats why i have this issues with the temps and the crashes.
Thanks for your time!
B.S i hope that my english is ok so i can give you all the information needed with the right words.
