I am considering a laptop with a 5th Generation Intel Core i3-5005U Processor (2.00GHz 1600MHz 3MB).

Is this sufficient to stream HD video?

Hello redfish1127:

Thank you for contacting the Intel® Communities.

This processor is very capable regarding graphics, it can provide with resolutions up to 2560x1600@60Hz via (HDMI 1.4) and 3840x2160@60Hz via (DP).

Now, regarding streaming video, it depends more on the internet connection that you have, a steady, strong and fast connection would provide you with reliability while streaming video to the desired end.

So yes, with a reliable internet connections, you would be able to stream video properly.

Regards,

Esteban C
