6100U Heat/fan Question

I see that the CPU can run up to 100 degrees. I was wondering at what point a CPU fan would turn on - at what temp. I am using Core Temp and it says that it's running on 1.8 watts (out of 15) , and at 40 degrees. I am assuming that the fan doesn't always run. Thanks.

Check the fan controls in your bios.
