About Spectre V2 Mitigation: what are "software updates" and "enablement"?

Hi everyone, about Intel TABLE on very recent Spectre V2 vulnerability, for my processor (CPUID B0671 Raptor Lake 13900K) both MCU and SOFTWARE updates are required for "enablement".

Now, my current MCU is 123, so it should NOT require any further upgrade (right?), but I don't understand "software updates" and "enablement".

1. Does "software updates" mean updating drivers for my specific processor?
2. And does "enablement" mean adding in Windows11 the following in regedit:

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00800000 /f

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000003 /f

Many thanks in advance for Your kind help.
