The i5 14400f is not affected by the microcode issue. The 0x12F microcode in the most recent BIOS for the msi B760 motherboard only applies to Intel K, KF and KS processors such as the 14600K. There is a latest microcode for the non-affected processors like the 14400f and that will be installed instead. So it is still worthwhile to do a BIOS upgrade plus installing the latest version of the Intel Management Engine (ME) firmware, and the latest drivers.
