CPU Chipset

Hello I own the Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz.

I can't seem to figure out the Chipset this cpu uses, so I figured I would reach out to the community.

Attached is a screenshot of the cpu-z page, that should display the chipset.

I didn't open my case since my motherboard is weirdly placed in my case and I would have to unscrew the whole thing.

Any answers are welcome.

Regards,

Adrian

Have a look on the model of your motherboard then look for it's official specs.

Chipset is also usually clear from the model name, like in mine case.

Hi, open CPU-Z and switch into Mainboard tab. Have a look on motherboard model name.

You will see the chipset name. If you won't, simply search for this motherboard's official specs in Google ^)

Hello,

Thanks for the answer!

It states "Intel Coffelake" what chipset ID does that translate to? ex: H87, Q87, Z87
