CPU choice for test PC

ce trade-offI am preparing test PC for server and workstation Windows operating system. There will be several VM that 32GB RAM allows. Target CPU is from i7 series. I would like to achieve a good trade-off of performance and power consumption. I have excluded "T" model and consider either i7-4770 or i7-4770S. How does "S" model behave in virtualized system. What should I take into account? Any experience?

Hi Milos Puchta,

The system configuration you mentioned in the post is for a desktop computer. I recommend you to get server products for a workstation/ servers.

In regards the i7-4770S/ I7-4770 it does the support virtualization technology and it should work just fine.
