Hello everyone, I would like to find the documents for the "pinout", electrical and thermal characteristics of the Intel 500 series chipset. I tried to find it in the document "Intel® 500 Series Chipset Family Platform Controller Hub Dataset, Volume 1 of 2" but there was only an indication of where to look for approximately and by what name, but unfortunately I did not find anything. I hope that someone will help)

Hello, I need documents for designing a motherboard based on the 11th generation LGA1200 processors or the 500 series Xeon chipset. I am an individual, and this design is personal, as I am studying for a career in electronics and would like to try designing a motherboard for my own needs, specifically a server.

I can answer this question right off the top of my head. You are asking for access to design documents that are considered confidential information and access to these documents is only granted to folks who are under NDA with Intel. Now, under normal circumstances, I would say you need to be talking to your local Intel FAE regarding the creation of such an NDA agreement, but it is unclear that one of these is going to be available to talk to you and/or support this endeavor. You need to go to the Intel Developer Zone - which is totally separate from the Support Communities - and talk to the Intel representatives there.

Hope this helps,

Hi SemenK,

Thank you for your patience as I looked into your request for the Ballout information related to Intel Core Processors and the Intel 500 Series Chipset. I understand the importance of accessing the necessary documentation for your project, and I'm here to guide you on how to proceed.

For the 11th generation and older processors, the Ballout information is listed in the Intel Resource and Documentation Center (RDC) but requires an NDA due to its confidential nature. To access this information, you will need to apply for an Intel RDC and/or Intel Developer Zone (Intel DevZone) account.

Please visit the following link for instructions on how to apply: How to Apply for an Intel® Resource and Documentation Center (RDC) and/or Intel® Developer Zone (Intel® DevZone) Account.

Once you have the necessary account and permissions, you should be able to access the documentation you need for your project.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. I will be closing this thread and no longer be monitored.
