Hello,
I have a Sony SVL24116FXB Desktop Computer that keeps recording an ESRV_SVC error in the even viewer every time I start my machine. I have found it to be a running service from INTEL and this is what the error reads..
Log Name: ESRV_SVC
Source: ESRV_SVC
Date: 5/7/2014 5:24:13 PM
Event ID: 2
Task Category: (1)
Level: Warning
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: Steven-VAIO
Description:
The description for Event ID 2 from source ESRV_SVC cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
Can anyone offer any information on how I can correct this error? I understand this to be an "Energy Saver" type of software from INTEL...
I can't get anyone from Sony to help, maybe because of the VAIO line being sold?
I have asked this question earlier but wasn't sure I had done it correctly so I apologize if this is a duplicate question or in the wrong forum.
Thank you
Steve Esposito
