I’m currently using an Intel desktop processor and have noticed that my CPU temperatures are consistently higher than expected, even with a decent aftermarket cooler and proper case airflow. I’ve already reapplied thermal paste and verified that the fan curves are working properly. I’m wondering if there are any recommended Intel tools or BIOS settings that can help optimize thermals without significantly impacting performance. Also, are there specific temperature ranges considered normal under load for recent Intel desktop CPUs? Any insights, best practices, or monitoring software recommendations would be appreciated

Under sustained load (in game, for example), seeing temperatures sitting in the 80-90c range is completely normal and expected. Seeing short duration spikes up to ~100c is also considered normal.
Hope this helps,
