I have an i7 8700K processor that your microcode states is 96h, my latest bios for an Asus HeroXI has changed that code to 9Ah. Will this impair the running of my CPU as it's not what Intel say is the correct uCode for my CPU.

You should be fine. Run the intel processor diagnostic and report back your findings.

Thanks for your reply, ran test and everything passed .So I will stick with the latest Asus Bios.
