You need to be asking the manufacturer of your laptop what your options are. In order for a processor to be used, it must be socket, motherboard and BIOS compatible. Only your laptop vendor can tell you what processors their BIOS supports (hopefully they still have files in their web pages that provide this information).
Note that many laptops have their processor soldered down and it cannot be upgraded.
