I7 14700F - excessive power issues

Hi

I would like to know If the 14700F is affected, or on the list of possibly affected, by the overpowering issue, which I understand is causing problems.

My PC arrives tomorrow and has the i7 14700F CPU and would like to know if there are any actions I need to take, or return the unit.

Pc spec is as follows
Acer
Predator Gaming Desktop - GeForce RTX 4070 Super - Intel Core i7-14700F - 16GB RAM - 1TB SSD

It was only the K/KF/KS CPUs that were affected so your 14700F will be OK. As the Predator Gaming Desktop is a prebuilt Acer will provide you with support including issues such as BIOS and/or driver updates. The support includes the Acer Community which can be found here.

That's great to know. Thank you for getting back to me. So all being well, it shouldn't be affected. I'll keep an eye on core temp and voltage with monitoring software. I just saw a list on a dell forum that mentioned the 14700F , but thought it was best to ask the question on here. Thanks again
