Hello there i updated my BIOS today and before that i was getting 4.3 Ghz each core when play games or stress my cpu for benchmarking. But now i am getting only 4.0 Ghz while doing the same? i do not understand whats the issue here. Could you please help me fix it?
Best advice I can give (answering in the blind) is to check your BIOS configuration. Something may have changed during the BIOS update process. Often, resetting to defaults will clear changes like this.
I have done that it did not help. chatted with intel support about this isue they wanted me to run the tool and they said that cpu was not getting more than 3.98ghz for some reason. and it could be faulty processor. I have sent MSI a ticket about the problem lets see what will they say.
