IPDT64 (Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool) deadloop, HW failure?

Hello,

On first use I was able to finish the diagnostics with success but later on repeated diagnostics it seems not to finish, ie. the progressbar overgrows the scale waiting for reading cache size, then window silently closes leaving its child process (IPDT64 running in background). What's the problem and might this signal a CPU defect? Any feedback would be appreciated. Log from status pane before the window closes:

I'm having this exact issue. I've requested a new CPU as mine was purchased within the last 30 days but I would really appreciate INTEL providing an answer. Thanks in advance.

This is already resolved problem.

Disable Hyper-V which inhibits VT-x and ]conflicts with IPDT.
