Hi,

I have http://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CCgQFjAA&url=http://ark.intel.com/products/65693/&ei=nsfSUsLZCcWJrQeP84HwAw&usg=AFQjCNEDTbJ8A7RcqMkou9KNc0n1F7m1aQ&bvm=bv.59026428,d.bmk Intel® Corei3-3220 Processor (3M Cache, 3.30 GHz) that i recently installed on http://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCgQFjAA&url=http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/desktop-motherboards/desktop-board-dz75ml-45k.html&ei=fMfSUoSAIYOMrQe8toCwCQ&usg=AFQjCNHJjT1FY3LZRWwaF6An2Cln8WClkg&bvm=bv.59026428,d.bmk Intel® Desktop Board DZ75ML-45K. I know that this processors CPU multiplier is locked so the overclocking is not supported. The frequency of the processor is 3.30 GHz , but interestingly on http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/desktop-motherboards/desktop-boards-software-visual-bios.html Intel® Visual BIOS its shows 3.70 GHz. So whats that mean....?

And i installed http://www.corsair.com/en/memory-by-product-family/vengeance.html Corsair http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product-family/vengeance/vengeance-4gb-single-module-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz4gx3m1a1600c9.html Vengeance® 4GB Single Module DDR3 Memory Kit PC3-12800 (1600MHz) and in the BIOS its shows memory frequency 1333 GHz. I don't have screen image at this time, but i'll provide it later.

So please help me out the from this situation.

Thanks.

Regards

Naveed, the memory you are using will be able to run at 1600MHz when you enable XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) on the motherboard. The normal memory speed will be 1333 MHz.

It is very important to let you know that when configuring the memory manually to match the native memory settings or selecting an XMP profile, the processor is immediately over clocked and it is expected to have problems.

In regards to the speed Visual BIOS is reporting, would you please send me a picture of it?

This processor does not have Turbo Boost technology; this is a technology that dynamically increases the processor's frequency as needed. So, if the system is reporting higher clock speed, it could be because the CPU is being over clocked.

Would you please let me know which the current BIOS version of your motherboard is?
