tldr;
Are Kaby Lake CPUs officially supported in Windows 11 IoT 24H2?
Hi all,
I tried installing "Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Version 23H2" on my Kaby Lake system and failed with the error message "Processor is not supported".
Now I tried the latest "Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Version 24H2" because it has reduced hardware requirements and the installation worked fine (without any hacks applied) and the OS is running without any problems or warnings.
Unfortunately, neither the Microsoft website nor the Intel website lists the Kaby Lake generation as supported in Windows 11 IoT 24H2.
So I am worried that I might run into problems in the future as the system is not "officially" supported or is it supported because the installation worked?
Thanks for your opinions in advance!
Matt

If the processor is not on Microsoft's supported list, then you could have issues later (as stated by Microsoft).
Nothing else can really be said.
