Hello!
(I dont know alot about computer parts etc, mostly just from troubleshooting on this problem for couple of weeks now)
two weeks ago i upgraded my computer with CPU (Intel Core i7-13700k), motherboard (MSI B760 Gaming Plus WiFi), RAM (Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5200MHz 32GB RGB) and SSD (Kingston KC3000 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 2TB)
Everything works fine, games runs perfect except my keyboards. Its not all the time, sometimes it can go hours without any issues and sometimes its almost constant. The issue is that the keyboard is get lagg spikes and it takes about a second for it to respond, all the letters comes, it just takes time. This is in everything on the computer like normal documents, google chrome, other apps, games etc.
I have tried all options i could find on youtube/google on keyboard issue on windows 10 and 11. I downloaded windows 10 first and started to see the issue and after couple of days of troubleshooting i upgraded to windows 11 to see if there was any difference. Tried troubleshooting for couple of days there and the issue was still the same so i went back to windows 10, entirely from scratch, so im pretty sure its not a OS problem.
I have tried 3 keyboards total on this computer (all 3 of them is old) 2 wired and 1 bluetooth, i get the same issue with all of them. I have only tried the main keyboard on another computer for 30m without any issue and its quite hard to check since its not lagging all the time. I tried all the different USB connectors aswell. So with that information i dont think its a keyboard issue either, since its very unlikley i have 3 broken keyboards.
Keyboards (all old): logitech g110 (main keyboard)
Corsair STRAFE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard — CHERRY® MX Red
Logitech K360
I have installed all of the newest drivers for everything including the BIOS.
I have not changed BIOS settings other then turning XMP on and off for troubleshooting, since i dont know very much about it.
I know there's been alot of issues regarding the 13-14 gen CPU's so can that be the issue? it would be wierd though since everything else on the computer works perfect and i have looked at my CPU, RAM, GPU usage while the problem accours and its nothing special there. After running hwinfo64 for couple of hours i have 0,7-1,4v on the CPU, i didnt understand much on this app with just youtube recommendations.
I also dont have alot of programs or startup programs as i just installed windows 10 back from 11.
OTHER SPECS:
ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 OC
ROG STRIX 1000W Gold Aura Edition
I couldnt add a video here, but just imagine typeing normal and getting random lagg/freeze for 1-2s then it can go back to normal or continue lagging for a long period of time.
Ill take all the help i can get, would also appreciate a video/link if you got any advice.
