now i have the processor and the motherboard and i want to set this memory. the memory is 1866mhz. intel core i5 2310 specification says that it support only DDR3-1066/1333 but i heard that with z68 motherboard it supports up to 2400mhz memory. i just want to make sure the memory will work at 1866mhz.

The processor in question specifically supports memory running at 1066MHz and 1333Mhz. Higher or lower memory would be under clocking and over clocking the processor (memory controller is located on it), which is not part of the Intel® Warranty/Technical Services.
