The Intel SDM has an outdated reference in "Figure 2-3. Transitions Among the Processor’s Operating Modes".
Instead of "See Section 10.8.5" and "See Section 10.8.5.4", it should say "See Section 11.8.5" and "See Section 11.8.5.4".
thanks!!! :3

Hi,
Link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/technical/intel-sdm.html
All manuals there that contain volume 3a (singular or combined) have the wrong reference in that figure, they should be referencing to Section 11 not 10. 10.8.5 points to "Microcode Update Resources" when it should instead point to Section 11.8.5 "Initializing IA-32e Mode", same for 10.8.5.4 which should be 11.8.5.4. I'm asking for the figure (2-8 Vol. 3A, Figure 2-3. Transitions Among the Processor’s Operating Modes) in the manual to be corrected so it points to the correct place ^-^
thanks and let me know if any additional info is needed !!
