Hi,

I am looking for information related to PFAS regulation on Intel CPU, specifically a Haswell CPU. Is there any DCL from Intel available on PFAS topic?

Thank you.

Hello YB,

Greetings from Intel Customer Support.

This is a follow-up regarding your inquiry about PFAS reporting information in Intel products.

We would like to check if the information shared in our previous communication helped clarify your concern regarding PFAS reporting in the Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS) and the differences between reportable and regulated substances.

As mentioned earlier, PFAS information for newer Intel products is available under line 00193 in the corresponding MDDS documentation, while older products such as Haswell may not contain this information due to their End of Life (EOL) status.

If you have any additional questions or require further clarification, please feel free to reply to this email and we will be happy to assist you further.

Best regards,

Roy

Thank you for contacting us regarding your inquiry.

We would like to inform you that the Haswell product is an End-of-Life (EOL) product. As per our support process, we are unable to share information beyond what is publicly available. We kindly request you to refer to the Intel® Processor datasheet available on the public Intel website for additional details related to your request.

Additionally, please note that PFAS information for the latest Intel processors is already available through the Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS). You may refer to the following link for more details:

Hello YB,

Greetings from Intel Customer Support.

We would like to provide additional information regarding PFAS reporting in Intel products.

Please note that PFAS are considered a reportable substance, but they are not currently classified as a regulated substance. A reportable substance means that Intel reports the amount present in the product, whereas a regulated substance requires products to comply with stricter standards or remain below specific thresholds to meet regulatory requirements such as EU RoHS or REACH.

For Intel products, PFAS information is reported through the Material Declaration Data Sheets (MDDS), specifically under line 00193. Therefore, if you check newer products such as Arrow Lake Refresh (ARL-R), you should be able to find the PFAS information in the corresponding MDDS documentation.

However, for older products such as Haswell, the MDDS documentation was not updated with PFAS reporting information because those products have already reached End of Life (EOL) status.

We hope this clarifies your inquiry. Please feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions.
