Yes, quite compatible. The i7-4770K is an unlocked version of the i7-4770 and thus supports overclocking. It also supports a slightly higher base and max turbo clock speed. Here is comparison of the two parts: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/compare.html?productIds=75123,75122.
