Q9650 with 4 pin cpu Power

Hello

I am currently running a Q9650 on my P5N-E SLI MOBO with the latest BIOS.

The MOBO has a 4 pin cpu power. It seems to run fine for the moment. My question is if the 4 pin is slowing the cpu down in any way? I am thinking to overclocking the cpu. Would it make any difference if i had a 8 pin cpu power?

Thanks

Q9650 is 95 watt , you should be ok ,Now if it was a QX9650 those are 130 watt you would need the 8 pin.
