Hello Community,

I have a problem my processor gets to hot. So I wanna remove the headspreader to get it cooler.

And remove the thermal compounds and use liquid metal instead.

Can I do it after I used it for a year?

Thanks for following answers.

Yes, you (still) can. Understand that you will void your processor warranty by doing so.

Yes I know that but it´s an PC that I bought from the store, so no warranty on the prozessor only on the PC.

But thanks a lot.
