Support needed...abt processors and ram compatibility

i have p4 506 2.66GHz 533Mhz bus speed 1MB L2 Cache processor and was using asus p5rd1-vm board...withh DDR1 configuration...now want to upgrade to new board Asus P5B-MX with DDR2 support...will this configuration have any compatibility issues with my current processor???

is there any relation of processors with ram compatibilty??

You will need new ram but the CPU you have will work in the new board.
