Turbo Boost Monitor

After installing Norton 360 and running the tune up on my husband's ASUS laptop with i5, the original Turbo Boost monitor was no longer available. I have downloaded the new version 2.0 however, my husband is unhappy with the look of the new version on his screen. If I disable the monitor does turbo boost still continue to work? Is the monitor only to see when the turbo boost is working?

You can disable, unpin or close the monitor. Turbo boost will not be effected.
