I could really use some help. My laptop is currently running a T7500 processor. Dell told me it had a P478 socket. What processor with a 1066 FSB will replace the current processor as a direct swap will the T9900 work with the Bios? I am currently running 4Gig of memory. This computer holds a lot of sentimental value to me. Help!!!!!!!!!
Compatibility between Intel processors and any laptop system is determined by the laptop manufacturer, so in this particular case you need to contact DELL* so they can provide you a list of fully supported processors for your laptop system.
