Upgrading to a Q9650

What I would like to know is that for the money will I increase my performance by upgrading my Core 2 Duo 3.06 (E7600) to a Quad Core Q9650? I am using a Intel DP45sg Motherboard & 8 Gigs of ram (The ram is for 1333 but only reads at the present 1066).

The E7600 is at 1066 Mhz & the Q9650 is at 1333Mhz. I usually do alot of video editing (Adobe Premiere Elemements 8 & Photoshop 8, along with 3D modeling (Solidworks 2010)
