Hello Community,
I have some problems when doing lab on vmware workstation.
When I checked my Intel chip (intel i5-11400h) supports virtualization technology, but when I used the Processor Identification Utility tool to check, virtualization was disabled.
I went into the BIOS to check the VTX and VTD sections and I encountered the following two cases:
- When I enabled both and went to the Processor Identification Utility tool to check, the virtualization part was disabled.
-When I disabled both and went to the Processor Identification Utility tool to check, virtualization was enabled.
Help me please.
Thank you.

Hello Community,
I have a similar problem like above mentioned. I recently created a new VM on my VM Workstation application with Cisco Modeling Labs. I'm running VMware Workstation 17.6.2 on Windows 11 24H2 on a Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 4. After doing all setup tasks to ensure, the Labs VM might run I started the VM but I got the message "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform...". Threrefore I can't run my VM.
I checked, whether my machine supports Intel VT-x/EPT and it does. I war running the Intel processor identification utility tool and got a check, that Intel virtualization technology is enabled.
Can you please help me in solving this issue?
Kind regards
