What is the difference between Intel Core i9-9900 and Intel Core i9-9900K?

The question may seem silly, but I'm not good at hardware.

For the purchase, I compared processors and the choice fell between Intel Core i9-9900 and Intel Core i9-9900K.

They are the same in terms of characteristics https://hitesti.com/compare/cpu/intel-core-i9-9900-vs-intel-core-i9-9900k

But the cost is significantly different. Is it worth buying 9900K or is it possible to save money?

A computer is needed for simple office work, working with text or graphics. I plan to master video editing

They are different:

The biggest difference is that the i9-9900K can be overclocked.

For what you describe, you do not need the i9-9900K.

Thank you, I do not know what overclocking is, I have heard it a couple of times. That's why I didn't even think of it

Another difference is that the Core i9-9900 comes with its own fan in the box... on the opposite, for the Core i9-9900K you'll need to spend extra money buying a good high-quality heatsink cooler or water cooler...

Overclocking is most likely done by gamers... but is not a must for games... I don't use overclocking and I play my games smoothly.

I also run virtual machines and write and compile code and haven't had the need to overclock my pc.

If you wish to have a little idea of what overclocking is (just for curiosity), take a look at this:
