Why did World of Tanks Grand Extravaganza winners receive a 7700K and not a 8700K CPU?

Seriously? The winners deserve better. https://wotonereward.com/en/ https://wotonereward.com/en/

Because of the lack of information some winners bought 300 series motherboards which, for some reason, aren't compatible with 7th gen CPUs.
