I have a 14900K, Asus z690 mobo, running the latest bios with 256GB of 3600 MHz ddr4 ram.
I'm running Intel's default profile (Extreme) with the latest Intel microcode. No over-clocking . No under/over-volting.
So, why such a low score???
SSU logs are attached.
PS
If I disable Intel's profile and turn on Asus MCE, CB R23 score bumps up to ~ 40K.

Hi SmartOne_2000,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum regarding the low Cinebench R23 score you're experiencing with your Intel Core i9-14900K setup.
Intel is unable to provide comments or interpretations regarding results from third-party benchmark tools. I recommend running the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool to check for any potential issues with the CPU.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,

Hi SmartOne_2000,
I hope you've had a chance to look over the information I shared. To help you further, I recommend using our Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) for benchmarking. Could you please let me know when you first noticed your score dropping? Was it higher before?
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you.

The BIOS settings for the CPU and iGPUs' current excursion protections were on by default. Turning them off (Auto setting) cures the problem.
