That update was provided by Dell. I installed it on my laptop (E7470) and all is fine.

Contact Dell for support with their update.

Thank you for your review and response. Sure enough, the driver has a January 2020 update, I downloaded it from the dell page, but the error remains

You need to contact Dell regarding this issue. Or, remove the driver. Or, rollback to a checkpoint prior to you installing the driver.
