Hello,

Sorry folks, there is no Intel audio forum here so I am using the processor one.

I havea: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 2304 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

This crash is constantly caused by the Intel Smart Sound Technology SST driver.

It happens when I close then laptop and then reopen it a little while later. Boom! Blue screen with the message.

Stop Code:
DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENNDING_OPERATION

What Failed: 'IntcOED.sys

Sources state that the driver must be updated. However, neither Dell support nor Microsoft support are able to provide a better or more recent driver, despite stating that this is a problem.

The current driver version is:

10.25.0.3950

Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Lenovo have a more recent version of this driver that can be downloaded from here . This driver is version 10.29.00.6376 from January 25 2022. The issue is that Lenovo says this only supports some of it Legion 5 Pro models. Depending on to what degree if any Lenovo has customised this driver it might or might not work on your Dell. The download is an EXE file which give the option to unpack the driver files or install it. The files unpack  to C:\DRIVERS\Intel SST Driver\20252405.10265741 if want to look at the files first before trying an install. Obviously you do this at your own risk.
