Xeon option for workstation 1 QPI or 2 QPI

Hi all guys!

I would like to know what to do and why with my CPU option for a new workstation.

I want a XEON but with my budget i must select it very well.

The config will be 12Gb ram DDR3 ECC + nvidia quadro 4000. The problems comes with CPU options, i woul like to know if for a motherboard with only 1 CPU i can get some advantage buying a Xeon with 2 QPI, the diferent prices between models are big.

The workstation will be used for 3D (3dstudio max) and video editing.
