activate vt-x

Hi everyone!

I want to set up a virtual machine on my desktop PC.

To do this, I need to enable vt-x in the UEFI BIOS.

The data:

Intel Core i3-3240 CPU

Bios E7798IMS, v 1.9

But I can't find any setting for the vt-x function in my BIOS.

I've tried a lot of things, but unfortunately, without success.

So my questions:

Do I need to update (flash) the BIOS?

Or is it possible that this setting isn't possible on my motherboard?

Thanks for your message and best regards!
