hot processor

Hi guys! last day i buy the q6600 processor.But my processor is over then 60 celsius. is it correct? then the cooler fan there have the gray thing.what is it?where can i buy it?if the processor is hot ,then how can i do?

"GRAY THING" what is it??? *HEATSINK COMPOUND*... anything over 60 is HOT!!!! buy the best paste and try again but buy the good expensive one, then reset everything and you will see the difference. IF no change try your bios set-up for best TEMP settings, i can help with that as well... whatever you do have fun as it could be the last thing you do for fun....
