i3 350m vs i5 520m?

hi any help would be great, i'm at university nd about to purchase dell studio 15, it will be mainly used for basic documentation, some dvd and video watching and to store my music. But also to occasionally use 3d design programs. I really want to buy a laptop as future proof as possible the 2 specifications are:

i3 350m (2.26ghz)

4gb ddr3 ram

500 gb hdd

1gb ati radeon 5470 graphics card

or

i5 520m (2.4 upto 2.93ghz)

4gb ddr3 ram

320 gb hdd

1gb ati radeon 5470 graphics card

this also comes with an a/b/g/n wireless card.

£579 for i3 model, £650 for i5 model.

One of the main diferences is that the i5-520M will have more graphics dynamic frequency ( 766 MHz) against ( 667 MHZ) of the i3-350M
