I was able to work a solution. I also had a bootable USB drive, and was able to go into BIOS and choose override the boot order. Then it recognized the USB drive and we are in business. Chuck

Hello headogears,

I am glad to hear that you were able to solve your concern.

Another detail that I would like to provide you it is that the processor will not affect the installation of your processor.

On this case, the manufacturer of the motherboard it is the one that sets these compatibility settings, also in order to have further details of this information, you can contact the manufacturer of the motherboard and https://www.linux.com/contact Linux Support.

Regards,

Angie.
