i5 750 processor having trouble..

I recently bought a new desktop with i5 750 and dp55wg board,

after 3 to 4 months when i checked my processor, it has small patches on it ...

The performance has degraded a little...system feels heavy now....

Should i give it for a replacement..before it's too late..?

Please suggest..
