Given that I have a CPU Ultra 7 265K and memory 2x16 DDR5 6000 MT, should I enable Intel 200S Boost? How will it help me, considering I play games and do other things on my computer, and most importantly — will it increase my temperatures? My motherboard is Z890 Eagle WiFi7

Hi vesko,
Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support regarding Intel 200S Boost for your Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor setup.
Intel 200S Boost is an overclocking profile available for unlocked Intel Core Ultra 200S Series processors (including your Ultra 7 265K) when paired with compatible Z890 motherboards. Your system meets the technical requirements.
We always recommend using default BIOS settings for optimal system stability and reliability. Yes, Intel 200S Boost will increase your system temperatures as it is an overclocking profile that raises frequencies beyond standard specifications.
While Intel 200S Boost retains warranty coverage, any overclocking carries inherent risks including:
- Increased power consumption
- Higher temperatures
Intel supports users who choose to use Intel 200S Boost, but we recommend staying with default settings unless you specifically need the additional performance and understand the associated risks.
If you decide to proceed, ensure you have adequate cooling and monitor system stability carefully.
For technical specifications, you can reference the Intel 200S Boost documentation on Intel 200S Processor Boost Overclocking Profile: Give your gaming a boost with overclocking protected by Intel – Intel Gaming Access
