Hello, I have a question, the speed of a processor is the sum of all cores? ExampleE5520 processor, a quad core, the 2.26GHz are shared between the cores and each core uses the 2.26GHz or Threat?

2.26GHz corresponds to the overall processor speed; this means this is shared among all physical cores. If Hyper threading is available, this technology will only provide the logical cores for an increased performance by letting the system handle more threads.
