upgrade I7 950

Hello all 

I have seen my old processor i7 950 dont have "avx" instuctions. I have troubles for open some new games.... is it possibility to upgrade it ?

Well, you would have to ask your system/motherboard manufacturer what processors their BIOS supports.  Then, you would have to check those processors for AVX support.

There are some 2nd gen processors with AVX support, but it all depends on what processors are supported by the manufacturer's bios:

Personally, I would abandon this effort and upgrade the entire system.
