How can I tell if this processor is x64 compatible?

Try searching for the details of your processor in http://ark.intel.com http://ark.intel.com. Under the Advanced Technologies section, look for a green check mark beside Intel® 64. If Intel® 64 is checked, then your processor should be x64 compatible.
