Could you tell us a bit more about your system?

  • Which processor?
  • Which driver version?  
  • Which version of Intel SDK for OpenCL applications?  Is CUDA also installed?

I have the same problem with my I7 3770k processor, with opencl_runtime_16.1.1 and the latest Intel SDK(7.0.0.2519), running in VS community 2015

I managed to get around this however by not using a file for my OpenCL code, but rather compile the OpenCL code directly from a char array made in the .cpp file... However this is very inconvenient

Any suggestions on how to make the .cl file work?
