installing CPU runtime for OpenCL missing library

I'm hoping to get some assistance installing the OpenCL driver on an AWS ec2 instance running Amazon Linux 2 (4.14.252-195.483.amzn2.x86_64).  During installation I receive warnings regarding,

- an unsupported OS

- missing library ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

I am trying to address the later issue in hopes that the installation will be successful on this OS being that Amazon Linux 2 is based on RHEL.

I found ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 existing under the /lib64 folder.

I attempt to reinstall glibc and even tried a suggested hack of symlinking that library into the /lib folder.

I would appreciate any other suggestions to help overcome this.

Thank you!

Tom
