Hi, Vilkaitis.

Thank you for posting in our Community.

Let's investigate this together to understand what might be causing the difference. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps or looked into any potential settings adjustments to address this issue? Let me know so we can work towards finding a solution. Please be guided that the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) is used to overclock, monitor, and stress a system. This application is supported with unlocked processors (K- and X-series) only. Refer to “This download is valid for the product(s) listed below” section for the supported processors' list.

Additionally, It is recommended to use the latest version of Intel® XTU for enhanced features and to avoid profile incompatibility. Users with older versions of Intel® XTU profiles (7.9 and older) could experience incompatibility and would need to contact Intel Customer Support to convert older profiles. Once converted, these profiles can be used with the latest Intel® XTU. Click here for more information.

I would like to know if you've encountered any errors or error messages while using XTU. Additionally, if possible, could you provide screenshots of any error messages? Regarding your difficulty in using XTU and other features like XTU AI and DTT, could you please clarify what specifically you're experiencing?

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Hi, Vilkaitis.

We apologize for the delay in our response as we are currently experiencing a high volume of technical cases. Please be assured that we are doing our best to attend to your inquiry as soon as possible.

I understand your frustration regarding the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) compatibility issue with the 14600K. It's important to ensure that the product you receive matches the specifications advertised. Let's work together to address this concern and find a resolution. As you're utilizing the 14600K processor, it's worth noting that Intel XTU supports unlocked processors (K- and X-series) exclusively.

Could you kindly provide the following information:

  • Do you have the latest version of the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU)? Using the most recent version is advisable to access advanced features and prevent profile compatibility issues. Users with older versions of Intel® XTU profiles (7.9 and older) might encounter compatibility issues.
  • Have you encountered any errors or error messages while using XTU? If possible, could you provide screenshots of any error messages?
  • Regarding your difficulty in using XTU and other features like XTU AI and DTT, could you please clarify what specifically you're experiencing?

Furthermore, If you have done any other tests please let me know the details so we don't cover the same ground twice. Let me know so we can work towards finding a solution.

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day!

Hello Vilkaitis,

We would kindly remind you that the Intel® Core™ i5 processor 14600K does not support the Intel® XTU AI Assist feature. This difference likely explains why the i7-14700K, which does support the feature, operates without issue. Regarding the DTT, we suggest contacting your motherboard's Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for detailed guidance. They can customize how the Intel® DTT functions within their specific driver software.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
