Oh, okay that's also weird (again). So yeah, upgrading to Windows 10 (and if it doesn't work resetting Windows 10) is indeed a good idea

You're welcome

I got the same problem. Made a fresh install on my SandyBridge-based notebook and on my Broadwell-based desktop pc and both end up with:

--- IPDT64 - Revision: 3.0.0.23.W.MP

--- IPDT64 - Start Time: 31.01.2016 15:46:13

--------------------------------------------------------------------

[...]

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Module - CPUFreq.exe did not create a results file.

-------------------------------------------------------------

But when run from the cmd line with admin privs CPUFreq.exe produces a perfectly fine CPUFreq_Results.txt file.

So please fix the Program. My guess is, that the module CPUFreq does not get started by IPDT correctly.

So is this bug getting ignored forever? Maybe a word from itpnadmin ? This is a bug in the tool's config/script. When I run "CPUFreq.exe -htlr 0.05" manually from cmd line it runs fine (on Windows 10 64bit). But when IPDT runs it, I get:

Wrong argument type format for argument -htlr

Option -htlr invalid

Test Information

CPUFreq.exe compares the value between expected and detected CPU frequency

base clock frequency and QPI rate.

Possible options are as follows
