I got my hands on an i5-3320M for free. I would really like to use it to upgrade the cpu in my laptop. My laptop is an HP Pavilion g7 1269nr with Pentium B950. HM65 Express Chipset. Been trying to get this figured out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello BLH1987,
You might compare http://ark.intel.com/products/55627/Intel-Pentium-Processor-B950-2M-Cache-2_10-GHz?q=B950 Pentium B950 with http://ark.intel.com/products/64896/Intel-Core-i5-3320M-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz?q=i5-3320M Core i5-3320M, the latter might not work on your computer without enough support from manufacturer. So I suggest you contact with HP for help! I wish you good luck!
Best Regards,
Aaron Janagewen
