my machine:
mother board: asus z790 hero
cpu: i9-14900k
I have updated BIOS to the lasted version, and enabled the Intel DTT feature in the BIOS setting.
I would like to test the APO feature, but I cannot download it from Microsoft store. It reports an error, my friend also has the same error, which is attached.
APO is a new feature of the latest released CPU, it is important for end-users to enable and leverage it to get a better experience, pls investigate it.

Hi, I think I have identified the cause. Basically, the script in the driver package is not correct.
Here are more details.
When you download and unzip the DTT driver package from Asus, then you click the AsusSetup.exe, finally it will call Install.bat.
let's take a close look the bat file, it only install the driver under the IPF\drivers folder for IPF driver.
but actually there is an another driver under IPF\ipf-ef-2.1.10101.15 folder, and it would NOT be installed in this script.
so a workaroud is to change the Install.bat script like this, and then reinstall the driver.
After this change, I can open Intel APO correctly.
if this Install.bat is provided from Intel, someone need to fix it.

Hello, @funny
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I will gladly assist you here.
Please be aware that for investigation, we need more information and details. Run the following utility and attach the report:
Intel® System Support Utility for Windows.
Note: Make sure to mark the box that says "everything" before pressing the Scan button. After that, click on Next and Select "Save" and then, attach the .txt file.

Hi,
Besides updating to the latest BIOS, I also have installed some latest drivers from Asus, which were released several days ago. Here is a snapshot. it looks like something related to APO feature.
After changing proxy and geo, somehow I successfully installed APO from the Microsoft store, but it reports an error when I run it, this is the snapshot.
The attached "system.txt" is generated by Intel system support utility tool. FYI.

Hello, @funny
Thank you for your reply and time.
I am glad to hear that you found a solution to this problem.
After checking your case, since you completed all the steps from our end, we recommend you contacting your System Manufacturer if the issue persists, since this driver is provided and customized by them and there might be additional updates, instructions or files needed.
Although, I truly hope you don't face this issue anymore.
Best regards,

I have this same issue..
Motherboard: Auros Z790 Master
CPU: Intel i9 14900k
No download from the Windows Store goes through successfully. I just went through and updated all drivers to see if that helped.
